Rules Of Play

Bonkers admittance policy.

Bonkers staff have been trained to abide by the points laid out in this policy. These are our policies so admittance to Bonkers will require you to be in accordance with these.

Bonkers staff will take children’s shoes to look after for the following reasons:

  • Our fire evacuation procedure
  • For Health and Safety
  • Shoes littering the play area causing people to trip over Children picking them up and moving them.
  • It is then our responsibility if they have been handed in.

Due to the pay structure we use, charging by the half hour when you leave, handing shoes in gives us the guarantee that payment will be received at the end of your session. It is a way of us being able to offer you a lower price for a shorter play session.

Bonkers Rules of Play.

All Children must be signed in on entrance to the play area. We operate a ‘Play then Pay’ scheme that allows you to stay as long as you want to, and then pay for however many half hour sessions you have played for.The maximum age for children to play on the equipment is 12 years of age. All Children 12 years of age and under who play on the equipment will be charged for.

No children are to be left unsupervised at any time. All children playing in Bonkers must be supervised by a responsible adult (16 Years +) at all times. Bonkers will not accept responsibility for any children left unattended to play.

Whilst Bonkers attempt to ensure the safety of everyone within the play area, it is the responsibility of Parents/Guardians to supervise and accompany children on site at all times. This means that the Parents/Guardians must stay within the play area, be aware of where their children are and explain the rules of play to children playing.

Children will not be let out of the gate without an adult. This includes toilet trips. We will require you as parent to say the child is allowed to go by themselves before they are let out by staff.

PLEASE only let your children in/out of the gate when entering or leaving the play area, to ensure that all children within the play area are kept safe.

When you are unable to gain immediate entrance to the play area this is because we are at our capacity (set by Health & Safety). There may also be a delay if there are parties or groups coming in that have been pre-booked.

Abuse of staff will not be tolerated.  Abusive/ aggressive or any behaviour deemed to be unsuitable, towards Bonkers staff and Management or other members of the public, will not be tolerated under any circumstances. The Management reserves the right to enforce total bans

The management retains the right to refuse entry

Shoes must be removed before playing on the equipment

Children will not be admitted to play if they are wearing face paints

Food and drinks are not permitted on the play equipment

Our toddler area has a height limit, which must be adhered to at all times.

Our baby area has an age limit, which must be adhered to at all times.

Children should not climb on the netting

Exits should be kept clear, including exit points from play equipment and fire / gate exits from the play area

Strictly No Smoking anywhere on the premises

Strictly No Chewing Gum within the play area

Jewellery is worn at your own risk

Only items purchased at Bonkers can be consumed in the play area (Sandwiches and Hot meals from the café's on site can be brought in)

We advise that children should not return to the play equipment immediately after eating

Bonkers reserves the right to limit play sessions. This will be communicated on entry to the play area

Children who are unwell should not use the equipment

All personal items should not be taken on to the play equipment ie money, phones

Staff will intervene in extremely boisterous play

Please report any accident or injury to a member of staff

The management cannot be held responsible for injuries however caused.


Please note that all persons using this play equipment do so at their own risk. The supervising person will be responsible / liable for any damage or injury occurring from or as a result of misuse or reckless use. Our rules of play are for the safety of all people using this equipment, and it is the sole responsibility of the supervising person to ensure they are adhered to. Our company cannot accept any responsibility for any injury caused to anyone using this equipment.
